Shannon DeWall has always been interested in helping people. Before law school, she was a genetic counselor for 17 years helping patients understand their genetic test results. After many years of helping people navigate the health care system, Shannon developed an interest in helping people navigate other complex areas of life and decided to go to law school. Shannon DeWall is an accomplished attorney and the founder of Law Office of Shannon DeWall, PLLC, a firm dedicated to elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning.  Shannon brings a deep understanding of the legal and ethical complexities involved in serving aging individuals, their families, and their caregivers.  Her practice is built on the principles of compassion, clarity, and unwavering advocacy for her clients’ long-term well-being. Shannon is a council member of the Elder Law and Disability Rights section of the State Bar of Michigan, a general member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and serves on the nboard of directors of Springhill Pooled Accounts Trust. When Shannon isn’t working, you’ll likely find her in her sunroom at home, immersed in her favorite weekend ritual: tackling a 1,000-piece puzzle.  This hobby isn’t just a pastime; it’s how she unwinds and stays sharp.

Jayce Ralph joined the firm in 2024.  He brings with him over twenty years’ experience in business development and customer service.  He is excited for the opportunity to meet new people and play a part in helping them navigate the changes and challenges that life can bring.  Jayce believes that persistence, perseverance, and patience can help individuals navigate any circumstance and is happy to put that philosophy into action as he comes alongside our clients to help them reach the finish line.  As a musician and published author of poetry, Jayce brings his creative energy to the office team.  He loves to laugh and share a joke and is always ready for a good cookie or cup of coffee.  He treats each client interaction in a professional manner with a sincere and empathetic ear as if speaking to a friend or family member, and is grateful for the opportunity he has each day to make a difference in the lives of others.

Amy Fabi joined the firm in 2022 and says joining this law firm has been an extraordinary experience—it’s the first place that has truly felt like a second family.  Helping others through legal challenges is not just Amy’s job; it’s something she finds deeply rewarding.  Amy strives to build meaningful connections with each client, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and understood.  Anyone who has met Amy knows she will be here to provide each client with expert guidance, making a difference one case at a time. With nearly two decades of marriage to her husband, Michael, and the joy of raising their son, Gabriel, family is at the heart of everything Amy Fabi does.  Her family is complete with Thunder, her lovable 50-pound Pomsky, and his energetic 18-pound sister, Storm.  In her spare time, Amy loves diving into good books, enjoying movies or TV shows, and making the most of time with family and friends.

Ayanna is an accomplished paralegal with a robust background in the legal field with over 17 years of diverse experience. She has built her career around helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most important moments. She currently focuses on elder care, trust administration, estate planning, and probate, where her compassionate approach and deep knowledge guide clients through complex and often emotional processes.

Ayanna’s work is grounded in her love of helping people. Clients appreciate her warm demeanor, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to their needs.

Outside of her professional life, Ayanna is happily married and finds joy in creative pursuits. She enjoys crafting, baking, and cooking—hobbies that reflect her love of bringing comfort, creativity, and care to those around her.
